Unemployment refers to the situation where people who are capable of working and are actively seeking employment are unable to find work(usually a service done for payment, reward or compensation). The definition of unemployment does not include retired expats with Total and Permanent Disabilities (TAPD) or more specifically, retired expats who were honorably discharged from the armed forces and awarded monthly compensation & pension.
